Man kann sich heute nur noch schwerlich vorstellen was diese Vision damals bedeutete und welche Emotionen sie im Verein weckte. Von au\u00dfen als \"Spinner\" bel\u00e4chelt, setzte man sich trotzdem das Ziel 1977 oder '78 den Traum umzusetzen. Voller Eifer st\u00fcrzten sich die Aktiven in die Arbeit. U. a. wurde erstmals Altpapier gesammelt und 1,2 Millionen Werbebriefe von Hand verpackt.\u00a0 1973\u00a0 nach einer Probe beschloss eine<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"grame\">gem\u00fctliche<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>Runde im Gasthaus<span>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"spelle\">Schwannen<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span>zur vorger\u00fcckten Stunde bereits 1975 nach Amerika zu reisen. Dies geschah dann auch am 18.09.1975 als um 11:50 Uhr in Stuttgart ein Jumbojet mit dem Zeller Fanfarenzug Richtung Amerika abhob. Die Flugangst muss gro\u00df gewesen sein, denn der Erz\u00e4hlung nach soll dies der erste Jumbo gewesen sein, der ohne Tropfen Alkohol an Bord in New York landete. New York, Philadelphia, Washington und Baltimore hie\u00dfen die Tourneeziele. Der Traum war wahr geworden.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal;
