Dieses Mal kamen einige neue St\u00fcck dazu. \u201e Die Gedanken sind frei\u201c wurde um 1780 auf Flugbl\u00e4ttern ver\u00f6ffentlicht und erst zwischen 1810 und 1820 die Melodie dazu komponiert. Im Jahre 1842 wurde das Lied in \u201eSchlesische Volkslieder\u201c von Hoffmann von Fallersleben und Ernst Richter ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Das zweite neue St\u00fcck war \u201eKein sch\u00f6ner Land\u201c, ein alt bekanntes Volkslied von Anton Wilhelm Zuccalmaglio und wurde 1840 erstmalig ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Gespielt wurde auch \u201eN\u00e4her mein Gott zu Dir \u201cein christlicher Choral. Der Text stammt von der englischen Dichterin Sarah Flower Adams von 1841. Weltber\u00fchmt wurde das Lied mit dem Zusammenhang beim Untergang der Titanic. Vertont wurde das Lied in dieser Version von Lowell Mason 1856. Erklungen ist auch das Abendlied \u201eder Mond ist\u00a0 aufgegangen\u201c von Matthias Claudius 1783.
